Historique :	Commande du diocèse de Besançon. Acquisition en 2017.Grâce au financement d’un couple de mécènes bisontins, la commande d’un calice et d’une patène a pu être faite début 2016. Mgr Bouilleret a béni le nouveau calice de la cathédrale le 5 mai 2017 en présence de son créateur, le maître orfèvre Goudji.

Précision_sur la representation :	L'iconographie fait mémoire du double patronage de la cathédrale bisontine : saint Jean et saint Étienne. La double symbolique est celle de l'aigle pour saint Jean et d’un saint Étienne portant la dalmatique, les linges du serviteur et la pierre de la lapidation.
